Enola Holmes Review (2020 film, Crime/adventure, 2hrs & 3 minutes)
Last Saturday night after I got in from working a long shift in my job at ASDA. I joined my parents in watching a new film that has just been uploaded to Netflix called ‘Enola Holmes’. The film is about the the younger sister of Sherlock Holmes as she set out to investigate the disappearing of her mother and why she left her and her brothers Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes. The background of the film is centred around her mother’s sudden disappearance but as the film develops it becomes more of a self discovery film of young girl, ‘Enola Holmes’ finding her way in the world as she investigate further into her mother’s disappearance. As Enola investigates the audiences learn of the kind of relationship she had with her mother and her two brothers. Her mother teaches chess, science (bomb making) and making decides, that will help her in live and as a detective.
