One night I was browsing on YouTube at what videos there was avaible to buy and to rent, when I came across this documentary on Medjugorje. I watched the trailer for it and discovered that it was wortth a watch. The documentary is directed,edited and produced by Seab Bloomfield It follows a group of people from different parts of the world, from different background that are in different developments on their fath journey. 

When watching the documentary th group of people are no different from you and me and that is one of the factors that make this documentary good to watch because i have been out to Medjugorje with my family, as well as going on youth trips to lourdes and other places when i was doing youth ministry. The things that they are discussing would be the same things that I, myself have found myself. Discussions that  are:

1. Is there a God

2. Is Judas, who betrayed Jesus, in heaven

3. Why is the stature of the risen christ at Medjugorje weeping water

4. Why does the vatican not recognise Medjugorje

these are just some exanples of the kind of question you would of, if you when to any religious places that Our blessed lady appear at.

When you watch this documentary that is the kind of people that you follow when watching it. Now some people in this documentary do have faith that are mixed in with the rest of the group. All members in the group stand out but there is one in particular  women that really stand out. her name was Holly or as the documentary knows her as , Holly Go brightly. Before she got the good news that she was heading to Medjugorje Holly was battling with cancer and the group and others prayed the Novena to ask Our Blessed Lady to give holly the strength to make the trip, and the by a mircale she was able to make the long journey from the states to Medjugorje with her husband. In the documentary the couple said it was one of the happest time of their marriage, being in Medjugorje. 

It was not just Holly who made the tripe and docmentary so inspiring to watch but everyone thay told part because like I mentioned earlier everyone in the group contrilbuted in their own way because they were al in Medjugorje for their own personality spiritual development on their faith journey. From going to Medjugorje with my family and watching other documentaries like this one, Medjugorje is more for the individual because I believe that Medjugorje gives the person something extra that you may not get if you go to Lourdes, Fatima or anywhere else. Medjugorje is a special place

From my visits to Medjugorje and from what I have wittness i think this statment sums up Medjugorje; Lourdes and fatima as a pilgrim you receive 95%, go as a helper or a priest 100% but                                                                Medjugorje gives you 110%  if you a prilgrim, volunteer and priest. It gives you something that ther other places do not. soething that you can not put your finger on.

If you are looking for something to watch over lock down give this documentary a change it is beautiful piece of filming with the cast experience and witness all that Medjugorje has to offer and lots of scenery shot taking of the surrounding areas, from the coast drive in, Medjugorje and Mostar. Writing thos review I hope it will inspire people to visit Medjugorje because it the docuementary is a true reflection of what people can expect from visiting Medjugorje. i also know that it is hard to tell people about a place until they actually go and that is very true about Medjogorje and hopfully by reading this review and watching the documentary it will inspired others to go before they get much older and can not. 

When people do go to Medjugorje a piece of advice i can give foir thoes going for the frist time,is to  not to over thing Medjugorje and go with an open mind abd not toi be black and white

Bob Marley:One Love - Film Review 2024

On Saturday 2nd March I went to see the ‘Bob Marley Movie and I through it was a good film to see the cinema and if you where thinking about going to see it with friends or family, this film it good for both male and female. The Film is set when Bob Marley at the peck of his career in the late 1970s. One thing you get from watching this movie is that he was about peace and unifying people together with his music. This movie is not a fun popcorn movie and where it makes fun of this great man; through the fact he was big into marijuana. In the film we do see the acting portraying him smoking when he is in rehearsals and relaxing. But that is not what this film about it is about how he used his talent to build a better world for him and his family. The film could not have come a better time.
